A DRAMATIC church wedding at Entumbane’s Presbyterian Church turned into a full-blown scandal after a woman stormed the ceremony, claiming to be the lover of the groom — a Tabernacle Church Pastor!
Webby Mukoka, the man of God at the centre of the storm, was about to tie the knot with a Harare-based ZRP detective, Millet Munenge, when the drama exploded.
Just as the ordaining pastor prepared to seal the union, a family elder, Mr Claudius Munenge (no relation to the bride), shot up his hand and dropped a bombshell that halted the holy matrimony.
The alleged side chick, who has been living with Mukoka’s child for the past two years, said she’s now fearing for her life.
“I’ve received death threats! I’ve gone to Entumbane Police Station to file a report. Word is they’re planning to attack me tonight,” said the devastated woman, who works for a brewery in the city.
In fear, she’s fled her home and is now seeking refuge with her twin sister.
The church was left stunned. Congregants watched in disbelief as the pastor’s double life unravelled right before their eyes.
