Peace Security re-certified

Peace Security was the second security company in Zimbabwe to attain the ISO 9001:2008 certificate in quality management.
SAZ director-general Mrs Eve Gadzikwa said Peace Security’s continued certification presented a practical tool to demonstrate its commitment to quality assurance and not just the bottom line.

“This certification is no mean achievement and is widely accepted as a means of demonstrating an organisation’s ability to consistently supply quality services,” Mrs Gadzikwa said.

She encouraged Peace Security to participate in the annual national quality awards.
“We have annual quality awards where certified companies compete in various categories.
“The winner in each category will compete at the Sadc quality awards,” she said.

There are only five security companies in Zimbabwe that have ISO certification, notably Peace Security and Securico Security Services.
“I also urge other security companies to attain the ISO 9001:2008 certification in order to be competitive,” said Mrs Gadzikwa.

Peace Security chief executive Mr Abel Mubango paid tribute to SAZ for the guidance that they provided in ensuring the company achieved this feat.
“I would want to thank the SAZ team and our ISO consultant for their dedication and counsel in assisting Peace Security to achieve this re-certification status,” he said.
Peace Security recently scooped the Employers’ Confederation of Zimbabwe and Institute of People Management Employer of Choice Award in the services sector.
