MUSICIAN Patrick Kahlari, famously known as Peekay who recorded a duet with Jamaican star Busy Signal in May this year, has released the video for the song on social media sharing site YouTube.

The video, titled Show Me Love, was recorded in the United States and Jamaica and has already amassed 400 views in its first hour of release.

In the video, Peekay appears dancing with beauties in bum shorts and bikini tops while he is clad in heavyweight gear.

Busy Signal also appears in the video singing the chorus.

The two will be in a night club.

Speaking through his manager Kevin Kumire, Peekay said a massive launch for the video was set for Harare and Jamaica sometime next year.

“This is the moment we all been waiting for as we’ve been telling people that the video is coming out soon.

“This is the right time to release the video as it is Christmas time and also the song is a summer track so people will enjoy it,” said Kumire.

He said the video was released on YouTube so that fans could get a feel of it before it went to music stations.

“For a music video to be played on any television station, there’re a lot of processes that one has to get through and this takes a lot of time. So we decided to post it on YouTube so that everybody can have an opportunity to watch it and also download it instantly,” said Kumire.

He said the video, which has a cameo appearance by Jay Reed of Badboy Entertainment, Ciroc Boys and Invincible Bully, was poised to change the game on how the world looks at Zimbabwe and how Zimbabwean artistes work.

“The video has an international appeal as it markets the country to the international stage. With this video we’re certain that the way the world views Zimbabwe is certainly going to change,” said Kumire.

The musician is riding high with his collaborative single with BaShupi titled Ma1 which has become an anthem in nightspots and is receiving fair attention on different radio stations.

Peekay’s offering is also dominating the Zimbabwe hip hop awards nominees list as he has been nominated for five awards.
