A Chitungwiza man has been jailed for failing to respect the ninth commandment, “thou shalt not covert thy neighbour’s wife’’ when he woke up early in the morning to pleasure himself before his neighbour’s wife who was sweeping the yard.
Luckily, the 32-year-old sex-mad man got a $100 fine option for masturbating in public after being stimulated by the sweeping woman.
Ranganai Mutubuki of 5513 Unit J pleaded guilty to public indecency charges when he appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Mr Lazarus Murendo.
He will spend a month in prison if he fails to pay the fine.
In sentencing Mutubuki, Mr Murendo said the convict appeared to have lost his sanity.
“What you did was disgusting and your action tells that you are capable of raping.
“This also shows that you are slowly losing your sanity. How could a full grown up man like you do such a shameful act?” Mr Murendo said.
Circumstances were that Annah Mangwiro (27), also of Unit J, woke up at around 5.30am on Monday and went outside to sweep her compound.
This was the time, the voyeur Mutubuki greeted her.The unsuspecting woman responded by nodding her head, but to her surprise, she saw Mutubuki unzipping his trousers and self-pleasuring in front of her.
The sex-crazy Mutubuki reportedly started advancing towards Mangwiro who dropped her broom and fled with Mutubuki in hot pursuit.
Mangwiro shouted for help and her husband rushed to the scene.
On seeing Mangwiro’s husband approaching, Mutubuki took to his heels, but was apprehended within a short distance.
He was taken to the police leading to his arrest.
