People locked in van with goats

A truck driver was arrested in Norton on Friday for locking 23 people along with 210 goats in the hired van from Gokwe to Harare. 

The truck driver had no proper documents for some of the goats. 

The goats were supposed to be supplied to clients in Tynwald.

The truck owner had lodged a police report against the driver after he failed to answer his calls. 

One of the goat owners told H-Metro:

“Imari zvayo asi tauya tisinakugarisana zvakanaka mumota nembudzi. We are now breathing fresh air.

“I have six goats among the 210 while some have more.

“We were going to supply the goats to our clients along Kirkman Road near Westlea before police arrested our driver.”
