BODY-BUILDER Beloved George is now a force to reckon with.
George started off as an athlete and footballer in rural Goromonzi and later shifted his interest to body-building where he is now making a mark.
This year alone the 30-year-old has managed to conquer in all local federations by winning the fitness physique category and is now targeting the international circuit.
George, who recently won the Harare Classic Fitness Physique, is already preparing for the upcoming Fitness Physique Southern Region Championship to be held on November 4 at Harare College of Music.
The hulk is also a fitness instructor and is into sportswear through his Beloved Fitness Sports Wear.
“I think I am in my best condition this year as I have managed to win five consecutive titles from all the local federations.
“I managed to win in the National Federation of Zimbabwe Body-building and Fitness, World Fitness Federation Zimbabwe and the Fitness Physique titles.
“The wins gave me confident that I can do more and it has encouraged me to take part in international contests next year,” said George.
This year he has won the fitness physique in April, the World Fitness Federation Midlands Classic, Men’s Sports Model in Gweru, the WWF Kings and Queens Grand men’s sports model, GS Grand Prix and last weekend’s Harare Classic.
“I am now looking forward to end the year on a high note and I am expecting to take part in the Fitness Physique on November 4 before wrapping up with the Zimbabwe Nationals on November25.
“My category is a tough one but due to hard work I am managing despite challenges in finances. I appeal to sponsors and corporates to come on board as I prepare for my last two contests. Body-building is an expensive sport but I am grateful to those who chip in here and there supporting me especially in the sportswear business where I provide joggers, jackets, shorts, t-shirt and sweaters,” added George.
