PHD employee in court

A Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries (PHD) employee has appeared before the Harare Civil Court for failing to fend for his two children. Oliver Chibanda, a builder at PHD’s Yadah Construction company, reportedly neglected his children. His wife, Eunice Funguranai who was demanding $300 for the upkeep of their two children told magistrate Mrs Barbra Mateko that Chibanda abandoned them (Funguranai and the children) for another woman.

“I want $300 for our children because he has never provided anything for his children,” Funguranai said. “He is a builder at PHD Ministries’ Yadah Construction and earns a lot of money although I do not know his monthly income. “The money will cater for the children’s basic needs among them, food, clothes, school fees and medicals.”

Chibanda denied working at PHD Ministries. He told the court that he survives through part time jobs and offered $60 for the children. “She is lying,” he said.

“I can only afford to give her $60 because I am not employed and survive by doing part time jobs.” Funguranai insisted that Chibanda works at Yadah Construction as a builder and would bring proof to that effect if the court allows her to bring it.

Mrs Mateko ordered Funguranai to bring Chibanda’s proof of earnings and employment before postponing the matter to today for ruling.
