South Africa-based philanthropist Moreboys Munetsi has embarked on a noble mission to help and uplift the lives of Zimbabweans living abroad.

Munetsi’s name is popular among countless Zimbabweans, celebrated for his unwavering commitment to improving communities.

He has gained popularity not just for his philanthropy, but also for his courageous efforts to seek justice, where he played a pivotal role in the arrest of John Zivhu and Alister Sibanda, who now face charges related to the tragic murder of a young girl, Princess Shoko.

Munetsi is also behind representing Zimbabweans seeking legal guidance in South Africa.

He recently launched a foundation, Greathope Foundation, a brainchild of Greathope Funeral Services, dedicated to assisting immigrants in accessing essential health facilities and providing dignified burials for the deceased, particularly among his fellow Zimbabweans.

“We are collaborating with various stakeholders to provide support to both immigrants and locals.

“Our goal is to address the challenges our people face in accessing vital health services.”

“We welcome anyone eager to contribute and work alongside us in this important mission.”

The philanthropist’s dedication is evident through his extensive work in repatriating numerous Zimbabweans from across the Limpopo River, demonstrating both empathy and solidarity with grieving families.

As the founder of Greathope Funeral Services, Munetsi has garnered accolades for his work, including the prestigious title of Best Service Provider, a great testament to his unyielding drive and excellence in service.

“Receiving the award as the best service provider is not just a personal achievement but a recognition of our entire team’s hard work and dedication.

“It symbolises a milestone in our journey of building a brand that truly serves the community.

“Greathope is committed to providing more than just funeral assistance as it aims to be a pillar of support for Zimbabweans facing various challenges.

“Zimbos in South Africa recognize that Greathope is here to support them, not only in times of loss but in dealing with many challenges they encounter,” he said.

With an eye towards expansion, Munetsi shared his vision to extend their services into other nations across the region.

He has also partnered with Ecosure Zimbabwe, which he said marks a significant step in their growth.

“While our primary focus remains on Zimbabwe, where many are returning, we have established branches

throughout South Africa, including the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Gauteng, KZN, and Limpopo.
“Our partnership with Ecosure will enable us to provide funeral services across all of Zimbabwe.”

In his philanthropic endeavors, Munetsi has also taken on the challenge of addressing health access barriers faced by Zimbabweans in South Africa.

“Recently, many Zimbabweans were unjustly denied access to health facilities.

“I took the initiative to document the situation, sharing videos and images with authorities and NGOs.

“Thankfully, conditions have improved.

Despite the challenges, we assist families unable to afford repatriation, ensuring they can bury their loved ones to rest with dignity, free of charge.”

Looking ahead, Munetsi affirmed a commitment to education, acknowledging the upcoming school year.

“We are preparing to assist families with enrollment letters for their children, ensuring they can access education without hindrance.”

Through his unwavering dedication and visionary leadership, Munetsi is indeed pushing for a spirit of hope.
