Philanthropist targets vulnerable communities

Businessman and philanthropist Dr Tinashe Manzungu believes in empowering and uplifting those of vulnerable backgrounds.
The award-winning businessman who is the Co-Founder and CEO of Zimbuild Group and Group Chairman of TM Group.

He is on a mission to give back to the community and last week he handed over a 44-seater school bus to Ruvimbo School which is part of the Zimcare Trust that he sits as a board Chairman.

Dr Manzungu said he intends to reach out to over 13 schools which they need to provide with modern standards.
“We implore and continue to invite more well-wishers to come and help us build Zimcare Trust to be the best School for the intellectually challenged children of our society as we educate them to have life skills and as we implement our Zimcare Vision 2030.
“There are 13 more schools which we intend to impact with the same asset.”
“We secured a bus for Ruvimbo School of the disabled and we need to better the standards.
“We also want the trust to move to a modern organization.
“The school should be part of the A schools by creating capacity for the school to enroll more children.”
Dr Manzungu has won numerous awards for his business expertise and philanthropy and has advocated for the highest levels of equitable and sustainable development in Africa.
He has vast experience and a hands-on approach to business which has led him to sit on various National, Regional, and Continental boards that include The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce(ZNCC) as a past president and ZBCA president.
He sits on the COMESA Business Council, and Africa Business Council, among others.
His establishments as an entrepreneur have been built on the mindset of providing solutions to the challenges that Zimbabweans and Africans at large face.
He has done Mega Infrastructure Development Projects that include Housing construction, Dams, Road, water, and Sewer Engineering interalia.
