A team from Palestine International Confederation Agency (PICA) concluded a two-day election reporting workshop for print journalists in Harare on Wednesday.

The training was organised by the Palestinian Embassy working together with the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services.

A number of print journalists from different media houses around the country converged at Herald House for the training, which included elections interviewing, photography and social media management.

In his remarks at the end of the training workshop, Zimpapers Editorial Executive Mr William Chikoto said the training has been an eye-opener to participants as the country heads towards the harmonised elections.

“We have benefited a lot through this training. It will go a long way in improving how we work as we head towards the elections, especially for Zimpapers, which has a number of social media platforms,” he said.
