Plans by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) to build a state-of-the-art boarding school, ZRP Umguza High School, in Matabeleland North province are now at an advanced stage.
The school will be located near Ntabazinduna, about 40km from Bulawayo, and the institution will complement ZRP High School in Hatcliffe, Harare, thereby enhancing educational opportunities for the youths.
The Commissioner- General of Police, Stephen Mutamba, has since presided over the groundbreaking ceremony of the Police boarding school, ZRP Umguza High School in Ntabazinduna.

The event was graced by traditional leaders, senior government officials and other stakeholders.
In a statement, national police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi, said a golf tournament was held to raise funds for the project.
Comm Nyathi: “Participating in this golf tournament was not just about the game; it was about investing in the future of our youths and strengthening community institutions.
“The ZRP is committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders through quality education.”
