Platinum player in Swaziland

“I qualified to play in the Confederation Cup next season after winning the Swazi Bank Cup,” said Mutasa.
“My club have sent a request for the player that we begin talks and today the executive will be sitting to map the way forward.
“I want to make an impact so I must have players who will deliver.”

Kamhapa might have impressed Mutasa during the Champions League tie between FC Platinum and Green Mamba. The 27-year-old Kamhapa came into the limelight in 2005 when he turned for Njube Sundowns before moving to Shooting Stars in 2006.
He then joined Kiglon in 2009 before crossing the floor to Blue Rangers in 2011 where he scored four goals before leaving them for FC Platinum.

FC Platinum chairman, Thadson Zhou, said he was not aware of any interests in Kamhapa.
“I am not aware of the request. We are, however, not going to stand in the way of players who want to move as long as the coaches do not want to use them this season because that will be cruel,” he said. Meanwhile, Simon Njeleza is on his way to Chicken Inn while former Highlanders’ skipper, Gilbert Banda, might rejoin his former club.

Banda was signed by Rahman Gumbo but struggled to impose himself at FC Platinum.
“I am in Bulawayo and I am still deciding on which club to join but I am going to approach Highlanders so that I can rejoin them,” said the former Bosso skipper.
Tendai Chikuni, the interim coach, is likely to promote junior players from the Mimosa Under-19 squad, which is playing in the Central Region Division One.
