Players suspended from Castle Lager PSL games

EIGHT players will miss this weekend’s round of Castle Lager Premier Soccer League games through suspension after accumulating three yellow cards.

Chicken Inn will visit Yadah at the National Sports Stadium tomorrow without red hot striker Obriel Chirinda, who inspired his side to a 2-3 win over Highlanders in a classic Bulawayo derby at Barbourfields Stadium last week.

Chirinda, who is the Castle Lager PSL player of the month for July, scored the winner and made two in the game against Highlanders.

Smarting from a 0-1 loss to ZPC Kariba in their previous game, Chicken Inn will have all to play for to keep their title chase alive.

Title chasing Ngezi Platinum Stars FC will miss the services of captain Liberty Chakoroma when they face Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

Ngezi will be hoping to beat Bosso at Barbourfields for the first time in a league match.

Highlanders beat Ngezi 2-1 in 2016 and 1-0 in 2017 at the same venue.

But Ngezi will have to overcome the shock of losing to relegation threatened Mutare Rovers.

Black Rhinos’ Donald Mudadi will miss the visit to Bulawayo Chiefs FC at Luveve Stadium tomorrow. At this time last season, Mudadi had already served four suspensions.

Chiefs will feel the absence of Takunda Muzuva and Perfect Chikwende for this tie.

Dynamos, who are finding the going tough this season, will be without Godfrey Mukambi when they visit struggling Bulawayo City at Barbourfields Stadium tomorrow.

Triangle will miss defender Arnold Chivheya when they visit Chapungu at Ascot Stadium tomorrow, while log anchors Shabanie Mine will be without Panashe Siziba.
