PLEASE HELP ME, PLEADS CAPTAIN BRITAIN

MUSICIAN Captain Britain has made an emotional appeal to his fans and the public and is asking for support as he works to overcome life challenges and build a lasting legacy in the arts industry.

The artist says he hopes to raise funds to improve his living condition and expand his career beyond Zimbabwe’s borders.

In a heartfelt message, Captain Britain expressed frustration over the lack of support he has been receiving, particularly after launching his GoFund campaign, which he hoped would help him secure basic needs and professional resources.

“When I try to organise things so that my life can move forward, nothing seems to work.

“I am trying my best.

“I created a GoFund link but it’s not gaining support. I don’t understand why people are blue-ticking it. The same people who say they love me are failing to support me.”

Captain Britain explained that taking photos with fans in the streets is one of his main sources of income. He said his creative photography style is not just entertainment but part of his hustle to survive. “When we meet on the road and I take photos with you, I am doing that so I can continue pushing forward.

“That’s how I make money. I need people to understand me,” he said.

He also opened up about his difficult upbringing, saying his dream is to break the cycle of hardship and become a symbol of inspiration to others who grew up with similar struggles.

“I grew up suffering and I want to change my life. I need money to transform everything, not only for me but for the people who believe in me.

“If someone really wants to support, they will support from the heart,” he said.

Captain Britain said negative comments and public mockery have at times discouraged him.

Despite those discouragements, he remains hopeful and focused. Some of his major goals include finding stable accommodation, raising money for marriage, purchasing a vehicle, and booking more performances regionally and internationally.

“I want more shows across all corners of the globe. Right now, I don’t have many things that are visible or tangible to show. But I believe I will succeed.

He added:“God knows where my helpers will come from. I believe the God I worship is alive and will open doors for me.”
