PLOT PARKS THE BUS, DEFENDS LINK WITH JP

CREATIVE entrepreneur and digital creator, Plot Mhako, is sticking to his guns when it comes to Jah Prayzah.

He insists he gave Jah Prayzah his first chance to perform live in front of an audience despite his claims torching a social media storm in which he is being accused of trying to gain relevance.

Mhako told media guru, Trevor Ncube:

“I gave Jah Payzah his first chance to perform live in front of a live audience.

“The year was 2008 in Glen View. It was at Glen View High 2 where we were doing a Jibilika show with the youngsters.

“He (Jah Prayzah) came through and performed.

“We had just met a few weeks before when he had just released the Sungano project.

“He played the video and introduced himself. The next time he came at the same event in Mufakose and performed and that one I still have the pictures that I have shared on social media.

“He then said to me that was my first time to perform live in front of people.

“He told me that you gave me my first chance to perform in front of a live audience.”

Yesterday, Mhako, who is a talent scout and researcher, told H-Metro:

“I am super proud of what he has become and done. To be part of that small chapter, for me, I am grateful. He is actually the one who talks about it most of the time when we link up.”

Jah Prayzah once saluted dance group Mambokadzi for also giving him exposure during his formative years.

Last year, he told Star FM that he used part of the money from the Mambokadzi show earnings in Budiriro to buy his costumes.

Ace music promoter, Josh Hozheri, also played a big part as he gave him the platform to perform at Jazz 105.

“I can’t remember the exact dates but it was in his starting days. He came with Mabla 10 and I gave them exposure.

“He once posted on his Facebook page thanking Jazz 105 for his career growth.

“He also thanked me personally and it’s nice because I am not blowing my own trumpet.

“That was an honour and I don’t want anything more. The fact that he acknowledged that pushes me to help the next stars,” he said.
