THE Plumtree Town Council will auction stray cattle kept at the council pound pens this month.
In a notice, the council said the eight cattle include two young bulls, weaners and cows.
“Notice is hereby given in terms of section 7(12) of the statutory 102 of 2015 Plumtree Town Council (Protection of Lands and Natural Resources ) by-laws of 2015 that the council will dispose of stray cattle by public auction at the Plumtree Town Council pound pens,” said the local authority.
