THE situation at Glen View 2 Primary School remains tense as the headmaster, Jabulani Mpande, has faced multiple accusations of misconduct.

Mpande was recently reinstated but has clashed with parents over his decision to select only a few to attend the AGM.

Some parents have once again called for his resignation.

Police moved in and managed the situation and gates were opened for the parents who had been barred.

“Mpande was suspended following similar clashes with parents, but he was recently reinstated and is trying to stamp his authority.

“He is aware of parents who led others in revolting against him and that is why he selected a few to attend the AGM).

“He was supposed to address all parents to deal with the animosity,” said a school committee member.
