The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has commended the public for maintaining peace across the country on Monday after ignoring calls for unrest that were being made by individuals attempting to destabilise the country through social media.

In a statement posted on its official X account, the ZRP said the security situation remains calm.

“The ZRP commends the public for the peaceful environment which generally characterised the whole country on March 31, 2025.

“Currently, the security situation is calm with police officers fully deployed on the ground in all parts of the country,” the statement reads.

Authorities did not report any major incidents of unrest or security concerns.

The police continue to monitor the situation to ensure stability.
