Police probe journalist’s death

POLICE are probing the death of journalist, Watson Flexy Munyaka, who was pronounced dead upon admission at Marondera Provincial Hospital on Saturday.

He was 38.

In a statement, national police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi said police are appealing for information which may assist to shed light on the incident as investigations continue.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating the circumstances in which Watson Munyaka, died in Marondera Central Business District on 17th March 2025 at around 1410 hours after being thrown out of a moving Toyota Fortuner vehicle along Fifth Street, near Chicken Inn Drive through.”
