Police rescue six workers, as standoff with armed robbers continues

BULAWAYO police successfully rescued six workers from Crystal Lounge who had been taken hostage by armed robbers at the club on Sunday morning.

The armed robbers had locked the workers inside the club.

One of the workers, who was in the toilet when the armed robbers came in, managed to call the club owner, Phathisani Nkomo, who in turn alerted the police.

The armed robbers are still inside the building.
