Senior Assistant Commissioner Mekia Tanyanyiwa said the force played a critical role to protect and safeguard the interests of Zimbabwe.
He was speaking at the graduation parade of 27 Support Unit inductees and 38 instructors at the Support Unit Depot in Harare last week.

“I challenge you to ensure that you not only cultivate an enabling economic environment but you also take part in economic development,” said Snr Asst Comm Tanyanyiwa.

“Your involvement in the economic turnaround programmes like the National Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment should be above board ,as the nation we will always be banking on you to play your part dutifully.”
