ZANU PF will today convene an ordinary session of the Politburo followed by a Central Committee meeting tomorrow, kick-starting this year’s National Annual People’s Conference.
In a statement yesterday, Zanu PF spokesperson, Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa, advised members of the Politburo to be seated by 1.45pm while Central Committee members will be expected to have taken their seats by 9.45am.
“There is a Politburo meeting tomorrow 24th October at 1400hrs at Zanu PF Headquarters. This will be followed by a Central Committee meeting on the 25th of October 2023, at 1000hrs at Zanu PF Headquarters.
“All members should be seated by 1345hours and 0945 hours respectively,” said Ambassador Mutsvangwa.
After the two meetings, party members will convene at the Midlands Zanu PF Convention Centre on Friday and Saturday.
The conference will see a business expo running concurrently with the main events.
Delegates are already being accredited and logistics have been put in place for their accommodation and transportation.
Food and the majority of additional amenities needed to make the programme a success have been provided.
