conference will be discussed on Wednesday (tomorrow) when we have our Politburo meeting,” Zanu-PF Secretary for Information and Publicity Cde Rugare Gumbo said yesterday.
The new conference facility is being constructed on a farm on the outskirts of Gweru and will also have offices for the presidium and heads of departments.
Other issues that are also expected to come up for discussion include the constitution making exercise and modalities for the conduct of primary elections ahead of next year’s general elections to be held before the end of March.
On Saturday, President Mugabe said Zanu- PF would this week make a decision on its position on the draft constitution released by the Constitution Parliamentary Select Committee.
The party has, however, proposed amendments to the draft that was released in July saying some of the provisions in the draft did not reflect the will of the people as contained in the National Statistical report.
