Pool stars brace for crucial weekend double-header

THE Bulawayo Province Pool Association (BPPA) League returns this weekend with an exciting double-header programme following the conclusion of the BPA Cup competition.

Teams will battle for valuable points in Week 12 fixtures on Saturday before returning to action on Sunday for Week 13 encounters, setting the stage for a demanding weekend that could significantly influence the league standings.

According to BPPA marketing and publicity officer Ozzy Dziko, players are eager to resume league action after the cup break, with supporters expected to enjoy high-quality pool across various venues in Bulawayo.

Among the standout fixtures are Dragons versus Renegades, Lobengula Sharks against AutoCom and Entumbane’s clash with Premier in Week 12, while Week 13 will feature another mouth-watering showdown between Renegades and Lobengula Sharks, alongside Dragons versus Entumbane and AutoCom against Exchange.

With teams looking to strengthen their title ambitions or climb the table, the double-header weekend is expected to test squad depth, consistency and mental toughness as the race for league honours gathers momentum.
