ZIM dancehall artist, Poptain, has dropped a single featuring Jah Master titled Denga, as they cement their “bromance”.

The pair has been working together on a number of projects and the single Denga comes by public demand.

A fusion of Zim dancehall and gospel, the new track – Denga – was mixed and mastered by Blaqboi.

Poptain revealed to H-Metro that the song is about life after death in heaven.

“It is a very catchy song about how everyone wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die thus there is a little contradiction.

“Denga is about being ready and prepared to go to heaven at any given time,” he said.

The ‘Fadza Mutengi’ singer said it was a marvel working with Jah Master.

“Jah Master is one of my best friends but I am also a huge fan who appreciates his body of work, so it was easy to combine our energy to come up with that single.

“This is definitely going to be a hit song for all ages and we will release it on all our digital platforms so that everyone gets to enjoy it,” he said.

Poptain and Jah Master are some of the successful Zim dancehall artists who started from humble beginnings to become stars.
