Potraz yet to decide on BlackBerry services

The BlackBerry Messenger service, which was an instant hit in Europe and the US upon inception, is an instant messaging platform that allows users of the smart phone to privately exchange messages which are untraceable by the authorities.
Users can instantly pass text messages, pictures and other files without incurring charges from their network provider.
POTRAZ director general engineer, Mr Charles Sibanda, said they would be concluding discussions soon.
“Right now I cannot comment on that issue because we are still discussing with the concerned parties,” he said.
“But in less than a month we should be able to give an official position and details.”—New Ziana.
