SONGBIRD Selmor Mtukudzi and her husband Tendai Manatsa, are set to hold their first show of the year in Zimbabwe after a successful tour of the United Kingdom.

The celebrity couple left Zimbabwe during the festive season and their home-coming gig will be held at Sherwood Golf Club this Friday.

The couple has been missing in action on the local showbiz scene for three months holding a series of shows in the UK.

Some thought they had joined the great trek to the UK for greener pastures but they indicated it was just a musical tour.

Speaking to H-Metro, Selmor’s husband, Tendai Manatsa, described their tour as a success.

“We just arrived from a tour and we have a lot that we have planned for our fans.

“We had a very successful tour and it was so much fun, we also got to shoot some videos there.

“We have more shows every month and new music; fans should also expect an album this year.

Manatsa mentioned the release of a new music video at the end of this week.

“During our tour in the UK we managed to shoot some very exquisite videos and top tier content.

“This year we have a lot in store for our fans so stay ready for the fireworks,” he said.
