The awards ceremony has become a highly anticipated event in Bulawayo attracting artistes, performers, and community leaders from all walks of life.

Praca co-founder Happy Mpofu said this year’s edition promises to be bigger and better than ever, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication within the Pumula community and Bulawayo as a whole.

“With a wide range of award categories, including music, dance, theatre, visual arts, literature, and community service, the Praca Awards strive to honour individuals and organisations that have made a significant impact in their respective fields.

“The awards serve as a platform to showcase the rich artistic and cultural heritage of Pumula and Bulawayo, while also acknowledging the tireless efforts of those working towards the betterment of the community,” said Mpofu.

He said the awards will be held on a two-day schedule.

The event organiser said the awards continue to grow year in and out as they have added new categories.

“Praca is also excited to announce the introduction of five new award categories that extend beyond the borders of Pumula. These categories aim to recognise and celebrate the exceptional talents and contributions of artistes and community members from outside
