Pray for President — Prophet Magaya

Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya has said President Mugabe is God-ordained and that he prays for him daily. Addressing thousands of congregants at the Ladies’ All Night Prayer meeting in Waterfalls, Harare on Friday, Prophet Magaya said it was important to pray for national leaders.

“Let’s pray for our nations, our countries. God Bless my President, bless Zimbabwe, bless Namibia, bless Mozambique, Botswana and all nations all over the world,” he said to thunderous applause.

On the sidelines of the prayer meeting, Prophet Magaya told journalists there was nothing amiss with urging the nation to pray for President Mugabe.

“He is my President; he is the leader of our nation . . . One thing that you must understand is that the President is where he is because God wants him to be there,” said Prophet Magaya.

The multitudes who attended the prayer were treated to music from the PHD choir, Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave and Mai Charamba.
There was pandemonium around 10pm when Prophet Magaya — whose arrival the thousands eagerly awaited — finally entered the church.
While the night was dedicated to being prayer, hundreds of congregants who suffered from various ailments for years testified that they had been miraculously healed.

“When God opens his grace, there is nothing that we can do. This was meant to be a prayer meeting, but look at what God has done. We thank God for his healing and deliverance,” said Prophet Magaya.

Prophet Magaya encouraged a culture of etiquette of virtuous women.
There was also a question-and-answer session where women asked various questions concerning marriage, their partners and familial conflicts.
