Yeukai Karengezeka Herald Correspondent
After operating for almost four months without a substantive billing system, following a fallout over the BIQ system, Harare City Council has migrated to a new system that has since been approved by the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ).

The new system, Sage Evolution System, whose developer is from South Africa, cost council US$300 000.

Harare City Council corporate communications manager Mr Michael Chideme said they had successfully migrated to the new system.

“We would like to inform our Harare residents and ratepayers that we have successfully migrated to a new billing system, Sage Evolution System. It is easier to use than the BIQ,” he said.
