Pre-Budget Seminar kicks off for 2025 National Budget amid calls for economic transformation

THE Pre-Budget Seminar for Zimbabwe’s 2025 National Budget is officially underway at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre in Bulawayo, with parliamentarians gathered for a four-day session focused on economic resilience and transformation.


Under the theme “Building Resilience for Sustainable Economic Transformation,” the seminar aims to foster discussions on critical fiscal policies and strategies needed to navigate the country’s economic challenges.


Speaker of Parliament, Advocate Jacob Mudenda, is set to deliver the keynote address today, which will outline the government’s priorities and objectives for the upcoming budget.
Lawmakers are expected to engage with stakeholders and experts to develop actionable plans that align with the nation’s economic recovery goals, making this seminar a pivotal moment in shaping Zimbabwe’s financial landscape for the coming year.
