A training workshop for journalists is on in Harare to acquaint them with budget processes ahead of the 2024 National Budget to be presented by Finance and Investment Promotion Minister, Professor Mthuli Ncube later this year.
The workshop was organised by the Zimbabwe Parliamentary Journalists Forum and the Southern Africa Parliamentary Support Trust.
Topics to be covered include basic concepts in budget and public finance management, unpacking the 2024 Budget Strategy Paper and Parliament oversight function on the National Budget process, among others.
