President in Masvingo for GZU graduation

President Mnangagwa has arrived at the Great Zimbabwe University where he will preside over the graduation of 4 899 students in different academic disciplines at the institution’s main campus in Masvingo.

The Head of State and Government, who is the Chancellor of all State universities will cap students who will be conferred with Doctor of Philosophy, Masters and Honours’ degree as well as undergraduates.

Female students constitute the bulk of graduates as 3 133 will be conferred with degrees compared to 1 766 who account for their male counterparts.
GZU Vice Chancellor, Professor Rungano Zvobgo is expected to deliver an address outlining an overview of the institution’s achievements and trajectory in the context of the heritage based education model 5.0.
