LONDON. — The English Premier League has by far contributed the greatest number of players to the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. There will be 134 English Premier League football players in Qatar.
Teammates will, for the duration of the event, become rivals in search of global glory with their countries. Manchester City have contributed the most players from a single club (16), followed by their rivals Manchester United with 14, then Chelsea (12) and Tottenham with 11 players. Arsenal complete the top five with 10 players. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane and Gariel Jesus will hope to set Qatar alight with their national teams.
