He said Mr Tamborinyoka’s condition had improved and that he could recognise people visiting him.
“His condition is basically stable and he is conscious. His breathing has slightly improved,” he said.
Mr Timba said Mr Tamborinyoka could not speak because he still had some gadgets in his mouth.
Said Mr Timba: “We continue to pray for his speedy recovery.”
Mr Tamborinyoka was involved in an accident together with his two brothers on Saturday night.
He was on his way to his rural home in Domboshava when his car burst its rear tyre.
Mr Tamborinyoka’s car rolled thrice before landing on its roof.
As a result, Mr Tamborinyoka suffered head injuries, eight broken ribs and a perforated lung.
