There were 81 victories, 39 draws and 81 defeats.

CAPS United finished the first half of the season with the MOST goals scored after they fired in a massive 27 goals, four more than the second best scoring-team FC Platinum.
However, CAPS United got their 27 goals in just eight matches and fired blanks in the other seven. In 15 matches, CAPS United scored six MORE goals than the combined goals’ total of Gunners and Shooting Stars.
CAPS United scored a massive 14 goals in the FIRST three matches but failed to score a SINGLE goal in the last three games of the first half of the season.
Gunners were the LOWEST scoring team after managing 10 goals in seven matches and failing to score in the other eight games.
Motor Action have lost only one match in their 15 games, and the Mighty Bulls are UNBEATEN since losing to Shooting Stars on Matchday Four.
Motor Action have the BEST DEFENCE having conceded just six goals in 15 matches.
Motor Action is the ONLY team that has NOT been BELOW Dynamos on the log standings at any given point during the first half of the season.
Gunners and Shabanie Mine are the ONLY teams that have been BELOW Shooting Stars on the log standings at any given point during the same period.
Only THREE teams, Zimbabwe Saints and Masvingo, are yet to LOSE any of their HOME matches.
Four teams – Shooting Stars, Shabanie Mine, Zimbabwe Saints and Masvingo United – are yet to WIN any of their AWAY matches.
Departing CAPS United striker Simba Sithole, with 10 goals to his name, has scored the same number of goals as what Gunners as a team have managed.
Simba Sithole is the ONLY player that has scored 2 HATTRICKS.
Archford Gutu is the ONLY player that has scored 2 FREE KICKS in a SINGLE match. Kiglon are the ONLY team to score more than one goal past the Motor Action goalkeeper.
Infact, in 15 matches ONLY five teams have managed to score against the Mighty Bulls, which means the Motor Action goalie has kept 10 clean sheets.
Both Dynamos and Hwange lost for the very FIRST time at their HOME grounds on Matchday 13, then they both posted 1-0 AWAY victories on the next Matchday.
Dynamos failed to score at least one goal on their three visits to Bulawayo. DeMbare have NOT SCORED in a match in which they drew, which means ALL their FOUR draws were GOALLESS.
Consequently, ALL three Highlanders’ draws were also GOALLESS.
FC Platinum is the ONLY team that managed to score at least one goal for 10 consecutive matches between Matchdays Six and 15.
FC Platinum were the ONLY team to collect MAXIMUM points in Hwange. Gunners are the ONLY team to collect MAXIMUM points AWAY to FC Platinum. However, Gunners went through the first 12 Matchdays failing to win at HOME. They finally managed to collect MAXIMUM points on Matchday 13 when they beat fellow strugglers Black Mambas 1-0 at LaFarge.
The BIGGEST WINNING margin at HOME was jointly achieved by Dynamos’ 5-1 thrashing of Masvingo on Matchday 6 and Black Mambas, who crushed Shabanie Mine 5-1, on Matchday 14.
The BIGGEST WINNING margin AWAY from home was achieved by CAPS United when they mauled Kiglon on Matchday 11.
Blue Ribbon and Motor Action are the ONLY teams that have beaten the BIG THREE – Dynamos, Highlanders and CAPS United.
The HIGHEST turnover of coaches has been at FC Platinum.
The late Benjamin Moyo took charge of the first four matches, Philani Mabena then took charge of the next six matches, Patrick Mandizha came in for just one match and incumbent Rahman Gumbo has coached the last four matches.
At the end of the first half of the season, there was a difference of 20 points between the TOP team and the BOTTOM team.
The TOP 8 teams were separated by nine points while 10 points separated the BOTTOM Eight.
