ZIMBABWE International Trade Fair (ZITF) Company has begun preparations for the country’s annual premier exhibition for the mining value chain, Mine Entra 2025.
The show is set to take place from 8–10 October 2025 at the Zimbabwe International Conference and Exhibition Centre Smart City (ZICES) in Bulawayo.
In a statement, ZITF chief executive officer Dr Nicholas Ndebele said:
“We are pleased to advise the nation that preparations for Mine Entra 2025 are firmly underway.
Just like last year, this year’s show will take place in the second week of October.
In the last few weeks, we have been engaging with the Chamber of Mines and the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development, as well as various stakeholders in the mining sector to have a common understanding on what we want to achieve this year.
This is also to ensure we align towards a bigger and more successful event.”
The ZITF Company announced the Mine Entra dates at the Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe annual mining conference and exhibition held in May in Victoria Falls, with stakeholders looking forward to the annual expo that targets players in the mining value chain, including the engineering and transport sectors.
According to ZITF Company, last year, Mine Entra attracted 289 exhibitors — a 41 percent increase from 2023 — a feat that signalled the expo as a relevant and unique platform for multi-stakeholder interaction, promoting development in the mining value chain.
“Informed by the huge interest shown last year, this year we aim to expand the Buyers Programme and international participation in order to deliver value and an exceptional expo experience for both exhibitors and buyers,” said ZITF Company marketing and corporate communications manager Mr Thandolwenkosi Nkomo.
Registration for Mine Entra has begun at the Bulawayo office and the ZITF satellite office in Harare, with online registration available for local and international exhibitors.
“We are calling on all players in the mining industry to register early for Mine Entra to avoid last-minute disappointments. As an exhibitor, registering early will allow you to choose the prime location for your exhibition and give you enough time to prepare and avoid the last-minute disappointment of not being able to get exhibition space,” said Mr Nkomo.
Mine Entra 2025 will provide industry leaders, suppliers, and innovators with opportunities to forge connections that could lead to joint ventures and partnerships.
The Buyers Programme will facilitate direct interactions between buyers and mining houses for a more enriched trading experience.
Attendees will also be able to explore a wide array of products, including mining and mineral processing equipment, detection and lifting tools, protective gear, and much more.
“Expect to see innovations that spur industrialisation and promote sustainable practices in mining,” said ZITF Company.
“With a focus on expanding mining operations and increasing export capacity, Mine Entra seeks to enhance the volume and quality of business exchanges.”
Last year, the exhibition’s geographic spread included international participation from 15 countries, and more global players are expected this year.
