President commissions Varsity Heights in Chinhoyi

President Mnangagwa has commissioned  the Varsity Heights, a 384-bed accommodation facility for Chinhoyi University of Technology students.

 


The facility dubbed Home Away from Home is self-contained with a gym, cafeteria, laundry room, game area, single and twin sharing rooms among others.

 

It provides affordable and comfortable accommodation for students. Varsity Heights is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) fronted by the Public Service Pension Fund and other partners including First Mutual Properties among others.

Government officials including Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi and Local Government and Public Works Minister July Moyo are in attendance.
