President Mnangagwa has today distributed the first batch of 30 vehicles earmarked for Zanu PF Central Committee members.

The vehicles will see the Central Committee members steer party activities in their respective provinces.

The hand over of vehicles is also part of broad based measures by Zanu PF to strengthen party organs as it prepares for the 2028 harmonised elections.

At least three Central Committee members from each province took delivery of the vehicles, with President Mnangagwa emphasising that the vehicles are not for individual beneficiaries but for the party.

“You are representing your province. You are only the custodian of the vehicle but it is there to carry out party activities,” said President Mnangagwa.

This comes barely 48 hours after President Mnangagwa handed over state-of-the-art ambulances to provincial health centres as the Second Republic seeks to enhance health service delivery.
