Nqobile Bhebhe in Victoria Falls
PRESIDENT Mnangwagwa has arrived here in Victoria Falls to officiate at the official opening of the ongoing Zimbabwe Economic Development Conference (ZEDCON).
The conference is held under the theme “Building Resilience and Driving Economic Transformation under Climate Change.”
President Mnangagwa was received by Finance and Economic Development and Investment Promotion Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube, his deputy David Mnangagwa and several senior government officials.
He is expected to deliver the keynote address.
The Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, in collaboration with other stakeholders, is organising the conference.
The conference aims to explore strategies for climate-proofing the economy, building resilience, and driving economic transformation under the impact of climate change.
