President meets Indian Minister

President Mnangagwa has this afternoon met the Minister of State for External Affairs of India, Mr Kirti Vardhan Singh at State House, where they held bilateral discussions aimed at deepening cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was also attended by Foreign Affairs  and lnternational Trade Minister, Professor Amon Murwira, Permanent Secretary Mr Albert Chimbindi and senior Government officials.

Zimbabwe and India enjoy strong bilateral relations dating back to the days of the liberation struggle.

Zimbabwe is resident to thousands of members of the Indian community.
