President Mugabe met Namibian President Hifikipunye Pohamba at his villa this morning ahead of the extraordinary Summit of Sadc Heads of State and Government that starts here this afternoon. Details of the meeting were not availed with sources close to developments saying the two leaders met for private consultations.
The summit was mooted at an extra-ordinary Summit of Sadc heads of State and Government that met on the sidelines of the AU’s mid-term Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia last month.
The special meeting will convene to co-ordinate efforts to mobilise resources for harmonized elections which are scheduled for July 31.
