President Mnangagwa appoints new Potraz board

President Mnangagwa has appointed a new eleven-member board for the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) led by Professor Sam Takavarasha Jnr.

The announcement was made by Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services Minister Tatenda Mavetera today in line with the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Act.

“These appointments reflect the excellent work and commitment to strengthen the Government’s policy and strategic direction of institutions that play a critical role in Zimbabwe’s digital transformation,” she said.

“Today, we officially welcome the new board, chaired by Professor Sam Takavarasha Jnr

together with these fellow board members, who will serve for the four-year term beginning today.”
