President Mnangagwa congratulates the Sables

President Mnangagwa has congratulated the national rugby team, the Sables, on their thrilling 29-23 win over Kenya, which secured their spot in the Rugby Africa Cup final.

He praised the team’s spirit, discipline, and determination, saying they have made the nation proud and embody the strength and resilience of Zimbabweans.

President Mnangagwa congratulated the Zimbabwe Sables on his X handle.

“Congratulations to the Zimbabwe Sables for their hard-fought 29–23 victory over Kenya, securing a place in the Rugby Africa Cup final.

“You have made the nation proud. The spirit, discipline, and determination you continue to show on the field are a reflection of the strength and resilience of our people,” said President Mnangagwa.

The President also wished them good luck in the final.

“We stand behind you as you march forward—good luck in the final.”
