PRESIDENT Mnangagwa is in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, China, as he pursues critical business and political engagements in preparation for the upcoming Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) 2024.
The FOCAC summit, scheduled to take place later this year, aims to strengthen economic ties and foster diplomatic relations between China and African nations. President Mnangagwa’s visit shows Zimbabwe’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with China, a key partner in economic development and investment.
During his time in Nanjing, President Mnangagwa is expected to meet with Chinese officials and business leaders to discuss investment opportunities, infrastructure projects, and trade partnerships that could benefit Zimbabwe’s economy.
