PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has officially opened the 21st Zanu PF Annual National People’s Conference in Bulawayo with a call for party cadres to shun divisive elements and uphold unity and loyalty while keeping the focus on transforming people’s livelihoods.
Delivering his keynote address before thousands of delegates including today (Friday), President Mnangagwa said the conference is a critical gathering of the party.

The President said the massive turn-out at the conference is commendable as it demonstrates that Zanu PF is a mass party that continues to grow from strength to strength.

Given the mandate bestowed on it by the electorate, he said Zanu PF remains determined to continue defending the gains of the liberation struggle, adding that the party and the people of Zimbabwe are one.

“Together in unity, the party is focused on transforming people’s livelihoods guided by Vision 2030. Let us uphold values of peace, unity, integrity, and honesty,” he said.

President Mnangagwa said Zanu PF is driven by results and this has seen it implementing programmes that address challenges facing the country.

Step by step, brick by brick and stone upon stone, Zimbabwe is on a path to achieve its transformative goals despite sanctions, said the President.
