Rise Kagona’s body arrives back home

The body of former Bhundu Boys co-founder , Rise Kagona, has arrived in Harare ahead of his burial on Saturday at Warren Hills Legends Cemetery.
He died aged 62 last month after a long illness. Relatives who welcomed the revered guitarist’ s body from Scotland, hailed him as loving father.

His eldest son, Clever Kagona, said the family was relieved after the arrival of the body.

From the airport, the body was taken to Claremont Funeral Service for a family ceremony.

The body will lie in state tonight at No.3 Muvanga Street in Mufakose, Harare. Kagona will be buried at Warren Hills Legends Cemetery at 2pm.
