President Mnangagwa presides over Zanu PF Central Committee meeting

Zanu PF First Secretary and President, Cde Mnangagwa is expected to preside over the Zanu PF Central Committee meeting to be held at the revolutionary party’s headquarters in Harare today.

The revolutionary party’s Constitution mandates the organ to hold quarterly gatherings.



Some of the issues the Central Committee is expected to deliberate on include the forthcoming Zanu PF Annual People’s Conference to be held in Mashonaland West Province.

The Central Committee plenary is also expected to receive reports from various Thematic Committees focusing on various areas.

The meeting was preceded by the Politburo meeting that was held on Wednesday.


There will also be a National Consultative Assembly meeting on Friday in compliance with the party’s Constitution to have at least two Ordinary Annual Meetings.
