President Mnangagwa has arrived home from Mozambique after a successful State visit that saw the two countries elevate their cooperation under a Bi-National Commission framework.

He was welcomed at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by Vice President Dr Kembo Mohadi, Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, senior Government officials and service chiefs.

During the visit, the two countries signed three Memoranda of Understanding covering cooperation in youth development, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and the implementation of previously agreed programmes.

The leaders also discussed ways to address bottlenecks at the Forbes Border Post, with plans to upgrade the port of entry into a One-Stop Border Post to improve the smooth flow of goods and enhance regional trade efficiency.

Zimbabwe and Mozambique enjoy long-standing cordial relations, strengthening collaboration on economic, political and security matters.
