President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Wednesday presided over the swearing-in of eight commissioners for the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) and six commissioners for the Defence Forces Services Commission at State House in Harare.

Speaking after the swearing-in ceremony, Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Hon Ziyambi Ziyambi said the swearing-in of the Commissioners will enable the two commissions to fully carry out their constitutional mandates.

“The Commission was not fully constituted,” Minister Ziyambi said.

“So what we witnessed today is that the President has appointed eight commissioners, we now have a full complement of our commission, so that it can carry out its mandate fully.”
